Wendell Berry was a visionary author whose books have explored the benefits and beauty of agrarian life. His writings almost always highlight the rewards and responsibilities that come when one understands the very real necessity for a local, land-based economy. Beyond all that is known lays a truth far older, more ancient, and more absolute than anything the modern world has to offer. One of the most important things we want you to take from our farm is an association with the earth.

You’ll see what we mean when you drive down the road, and come across our farm. You’ll find open land, plants growing, bees buzzing, people picking blueberries, people picking Lavender, calves mooing, flutterbies fluttering. When there’s no motorcycles going by, you can hear the birds singing. For the artists and photographers that want to come at dawn and/or dusk, call ahead, so we know you’re coming, 860-923-3439.

Thus, please leave your pets home.  We don’t want to have to ask you to leave them in the car.
